The Suzuki Burgman Street shares its platform with the Suzuki Access 125, resulting in similar underpinnings. It features a telescopic fork and single shock suspension setup, mirroring the conservative Access 125’s design. The Burgman Street is available in a single variant, equipped with a 12-inch/10-inch alloy wheel combination and a front disc brake with a rear drum brake arrangement. CBS (Combined Braking System) is a standard feature. However, the EX variant stands out with a 12-inch rear wheel fitted with a 100-section/80-section tire, while the standard variant utilizes a 90-section/100-section tire. Although Burgman Street imitates the styling of a maxi-scooter, it falls short of being a full-fledged one.

With the Suzuki Ride Connect system, the Burgman Street offers an array of features, including turn-by-turn navigation, alerts for phone calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messages, trip sharing functionality, last parked location tracking, overspeeding alerts, and a smartphone battery level indicator. The scooter’s LED headlight provides decent illumination, while the LED tail lamp adds a touch of modernity. However, the indicators still utilize conventional bulb technology. Notably, the EX variant of the Burgman Street comes with additional features such as a silent starter and an automatic start-stop system, enhancing convenience and fuel efficiency.

Suzuki has updated the 124cc single-cylinder engine of Burgman Street to comply with the latest BS6.2 emission norms. It is also E-20 compliant, allowing it to run on a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline. The engine generates a maximum power output of 8.7PS and a peak torque of 10Nm, delivering smooth performance on urban roads and highways. The Burgman Street provides a balance of power and efficiency, catering to the needs of riders seeking a versatile scooter experience.
