Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 Price, Specification, and Features in Nepal
Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS is available in Nepal at a price of Rs. 3,30,900.
The Pulsar NS160 has received an updated design, exuding a sharp and aggressive streetfighter aesthetic with a muscular mass-forward appearance. It showcases a halogen headlight with pilot lamps and features a semi-digital instrument cluster that provides essential information such as speed, revs, fuel level, clock, odometer, and trip meter readings. The 2023 model has undergone slight revisions to the console, now including readouts for gear position, real-time mileage, and distance to empty. However, it still lacks smartphone connectivity and navigation. To ensure a comfortable yet slightly sporty riding position, the bike incorporates a raised clip-on handlebar and split seats.
Powering the Pulsar NS160 is a 160.3cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. It delivers a power output of 17.2PS and a torque of 14.6Nm. The updated NS160 retains the same performance figures but now complies with the BS6.2 (OBD-2 compliant) emission standards.
The motorcycle is built on a perimeter frame and features a 33mm upside-down fork at the front, along with a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear, providing a balanced suspension setup. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm circular disc at the front, equipped with Grimeca calipers, and a 230mm disc at the rear. The safety aspect is enhanced with the inclusion of dual-channel ABS. The Pulsar NS160 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with MRF Nylogrip Zapper tires measuring 100/80 at the front and 130/70 at the rear.
Compared to the previous-generation NS160, the updated model replaces the telescopic fork with an upside-down fork and upgrades the front braking system to a 300mm disc with Grimeca calipers. The rear brake remains a 230mm disc. Additionally, the updated NS160 benefits from dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The motorcycle retains its 17-inch alloy wheels, but now sports wider tires, measuring 100/80 at the front and 130/70 at the rear, offering improved grip and stability.
