With its design inspired by the Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 showcases a sleek halogen headlight featuring twin pilot lights. While the taillight is LED, the indicators are halogen units. It shares the same 12-liter fuel tank as the Pulsar NS160. As a sub-125cc bike, the NS125 is equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System) instead of ABS.

Powering the Pulsar NS125 is a 124.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is fed by an electronic carburetor to maintain affordability and emission standards. It generates 11.99PS of power and 11Nm of torque, slightly more than the Pulsar 125. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission, and Bajaj claims a power-to-weight ratio of 83.3PS per ton.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 features a perimeter frame and is supported by a telescopic fork and a mono-shock suspension setup. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels similar to its 160cc and 200cc counterparts, although it is fitted with narrower 80-section (front) and 100-section (rear) MRF tires. Braking duties are handled by a 240mm petal disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The bike weighs 144kg, which is 7kg lighter than the NS160.
