The Bajaj Dominar 250 shares its bodywork and styling with its larger sibling. It features the same LED illumination, twin barrel exhaust, and bungee straps below the pillion seat. The backlit switchgear and premium sleek mirrors with aluminum stalks are also borrowed from the Dominar 400.

One way to differentiate between the two bikes is through the tank-mounted secondary info panel on the Dominar 250, which lacks certain features like real-time mileage and a gear-position indicator. While the design of the alloy rims remains the same, they do not have a machined finish like the Dominar 400.

Powering the Bajaj Dominar 250 is a 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine sourced from KTM. The engine is tuned slightly differently to suit the power cruiser characteristics of the bike. It delivers 27PS of power and 23.5Nm of torque, which is slightly lower than the output figures of the KTM 250 Duke. The Dominar 250 boasts a claimed 0-100kmph acceleration time of 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 132kmph. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, similar to the 250 Duke.

The Dominar 250 shares its suspension and braking setup with the Dominar 400. It features a perimeter frame, USD fork, and gas-charged preload-adjustable mono-shock linked to a box-section swingarm. The bike is equipped with disc brakes on both ends, with a front radial brake caliper and dual-channel ABS as standard. The front disc brake is slightly smaller at 300mm.
