Yatri is a Nepali motorcycle brand that made the manufacture of electric-motorcycle from the ground in Nepal possible. Besides, it also proved that directing to electric vehicles does not mean to be a compromise but finer, swifter, and kinder to the environment. Moving along with its idea, the company recently unveiled the beautiful Yatri Project One, an electric motorbike.
Manufactured for the roads of Nepal, Project One features a plush suspension and upright ergonomics id. However, the company still has to go a long way to reduce the vehicle’s input cost by optimizing the utilization of resources.
Yatri Project One Design
Yatri Project One looks somehow similar to its older sibling, the project zero. Therefore, it boasts a simple yet peculiarly aesthetic look. It seems more like a combination of a sportbike and scrambler. Likewise, Yatri Project One is not belligerent and certainly not very loud. Incorporating front and rear LED lights with Daytime Running Lamp, the bike will instead give you futuristic and modern vibes. Similarly, the company now offers a good range of color options. It comes in 10 different body paints, two-seat trims, and three suspension finishes.
Performance
The new Yatri Project One is powered by an electric powertrain that delivers extensively high performance at a minimal operating cost. The electric motor generates a maximum power of 14KW and a max torque of 480NM at the wheel. Besides, the new electric motorcycle from Yatri weighs around 110kgs, which is relatively lighter than its last variant.
The base variant of Yatri Project One has 72T rear sprockets, while the superior version comes with bigger 80T sprockets. It allows the bike to go from 0-60kmph in less than 3 seconds.
Similarly, for the braking, the base version brags a 240mm disc rotor that decelerates the bike from 60-0 kmph at a braking distance of 25 meters. On the other hand, the upgraded variant gets a 320mm front disc rotor.
Battery
The luring electric bike is built around a 3.0 kWh lithium-ion battery that produces a power of 14kW and a torque of 480NM. This allows the bike to reach the 60 kmph mark within 3seconds. Moving on to the charging, the home charging outlet can fully charge the vehicle within 2 hours, while a fast charger can do the same job within an hour.
Yatri Project One Features and Connectivity
The Yatri Project One flaunts an elementary digital cluster with an onboard 4G network and Bluetooth. Moreover, you can easily connect the bike to its mobile application and enable useful anti-theft and onboard GPS features. Similarly, it also shows you the charging status, route planning, on-demand servicing appointment, and roadside assistance.

The new Yatri Project One costs Rs.4,95,000 in Nepal. Besides, you can pre-book this beautiful electric motorbike at Rs.10,000. Yatri also offers the bike in monthly installments at a total price of Rs.5,06,800. The downpayment starts from Rs.1,26,000 to Rs.3,80,100 and the calculated EMI is paid at a 7.99% rate of interest over a period of either 12 or 18 or 24 months.
